What is SoSocial?

SoSocial is a premium template marketplace designed specifically for real estate professionals. We provide professionally-designed Canva templates for social media posts, reels, stories, print assets, and more—all tailored for real estate marketing.

Do I need design experience?

No! Our templates are designed to be user-friendly and easy to customize in Canva, even if you've never designed anything before. Simply open the template, add your content, and you're ready to go.


Browsing & Finding Templates

How do I search for templates?

You can find templates several ways:

  1. Browse by Category - Use the category menu on the homepage to browse collections like Social Media Posts, Reels & Stories, Print Assets, Carousel Posts, and Seasonal/Holiday content
  2. Search Bar - Type keywords like "listing", "open house", "market update", or "Christmas" to find specific templates
  3. Browse All Templates - View all available templates sorted by newest or browse by specific asset type
  4. Collections - Browse curated collections like "Free Templates", "Thanksgiving", "Christmas", or "Market Updates"

What's the difference between templates and images?

  • Templates are editable Canva files where you can customize text, colors, images, and design elements
  • Images are pre-designed graphics you can use as-is or with minimal customization (like stock photos or backgrounds)

Look for the image badge icon on the bottom-left of product cards to identify image assets.

What are the different template types?

  • Social Post - Single square image perfect for Instagram/Facebook feed posts
  • Carousel Post - Multi-slide posts that users can swipe through (great for storytelling)
  • Reel/Story - Vertical video format for Instagram Reels, Stories, or TikTok
  • Print Asset - Flyers, postcards, door hangers, and other printable materials
  • Graphic Asset - Versatile graphics that can be used across multiple platforms

How do I filter by template type?

When browsing templates, you can filter by:

  • Asset type (Social Post, Reel, Carousel, Print Asset)
  • Category (Listings, Open House, Market Updates, Holidays)
  • Price (Free or Premium)

Why don't I see all the templates when browsing?

Make sure you're viewing "All Templates" rather than a specific category. Some templates may be tagged in specific collections and won't show up in general browsing unless they have the "all" tag.


Using Canva with SoSocial Templates

Do I need a Canva account?

Yes! All our templates are designed for Canva. You'll need a free or paid Canva account to edit and customize them.

Do I need Canva Pro?

Most templates work with a free Canva account, but some templates may use premium Canva elements. A Canva Pro subscription gives you access to millions of premium photos, graphics, and features.

How do I open a template in Canva?

  1. Click on the template you want to use
  2. Click the "Canva Template URL" link in the product details
  3. The template will open directly in Canva
  4. Click "Use Template" or "Customize" to make it your own
  5. Edit text, images, colors, and any other elements
  6. Download or share your customized design

Can I save templates to my Canva account?

Yes! Once you open a template in Canva, you can save it to your Canva account and access it anytime. We recommend creating folders in Canva to organize your SoSocial templates.

Can I use templates on mobile?

Absolutely! Canva has excellent mobile apps for iOS and Android. You can edit and customize templates right from your phone or tablet.


Free vs Premium Content

What's included in free templates?

Free templates give you access to a curated selection of high-quality designs at no cost. Simply create an account and download them instantly.

What's included with a premium subscription?

Premium subscribers get:

  • Access to our complete template library
  • All seasonal and holiday collections
  • Weekly new template releases
  • Exclusive designs not available for free
  • Market update templates
  • Priority support

How much does a subscription cost?

Pricing varies by plan. Check our pricing page for current subscription options. We offer monthly and annual plans.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties. Your access will continue until the end of your billing period.


Template Usage & Customization

How do I customize a template?

  1. Open the template in Canva via the template URL
  2. Click on any text to edit it with your information
  3. Replace images by clicking on them and uploading your own
  4. Change colors to match your branding
  5. Add or remove elements as needed
  6. Download when you're happy with your design

What can I customize?

You can customize virtually everything:

  • Text (change wording, fonts, sizes, colors)
  • Images (replace with your own photos)

Can I use templates for multiple projects?

Yes! Once you purchase or download a template, you can use it for unlimited projects for your real estate business.

Can I share templates with my team?

Your license allows you to use templates for your business, but each team member should have their own SoSocial account. Templates cannot be redistributed to others.

Can I use templates for my clients?

Yes! If you're a marketing professional or agency working with real estate clients, you can use our templates to create content for them.


Account & Subscription

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign Up" or "Create Account" in the top navigation. You'll need to provide an email and create a password. It's quick and free!

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. We'll email you a link to reset your password.

How do I update my billing information?

Log into your account and go to "Account Settings" or "Billing" to update your payment method.

How do I access my favorites?

Click the heart icon (in the bottom-right corner of your screen) to view all templates you've marked as favorites. This makes it easy to find templates you love!

How do I download templates I've purchased?

Simply click on any template in your library and click the "Canva Template URL" to open it in Canva. From there, you can download it in various formats (PNG, JPG, PDF, MP4).


Seasonal & Holiday Collections

What seasonal content is available?

We create fresh seasonal collections throughout the year:

Suggested Captions

What are Suggested Captions?

For many templates, we provide pre-written social media captions that pair perfectly with the design. These save you time and help you post content faster.

How do I access Suggested Captions?

On product pages, look for "Suggested captions for this post" and click to expand. You'll see caption options you can copy and customize.

Can I modify the captions?

Absolutely! Our captions are suggestions. Feel free to personalize them to match your brand voice and specific message.


How-To Guides

Where can I find guides for using templates?

Many templates include a "How-To Guide" section that provides:

  • Best practices for using the template

Technical Help

Why isn't a template loading in Canva?

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure you're logged into your Canva account
  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Check your internet connection
  5. Contact us if the problem persists

The template looks different in Canva than on your site. Why?

Product preview images show what the template looks like with sample content. When you open it in Canva, you'll see the editable version with placeholder text and images ready for you to customize.

Can I download templates in different formats?

Yes! Once you open a template in Canva, you can download it in multiple formats:

  • PNG (for social media)
  • JPG (for photos/images)
  • PDF (for print)
  • MP4 (for videos/animations)
  • GIF (for animated graphics)

What size are the templates?

Templates are optimized for their intended use:

  • Social Posts: 1080x1080px (square)
  • Stories/Reels: 1080x1920px (vertical)
  • Carousel Posts: 1080x1080px per slide
  • Print Assets: Varies (typically 8.5x11" or custom sizes)

Licensing & Usage Rights

Can I use templates commercially?

Yes! You can use templates for your real estate business, including commercial purposes like client work, listings, and promotional materials.

Can I resell or share templates?

No. Templates cannot be resold, redistributed, or shared with others who haven't purchased them. See our full License Agreement for details.

Do I own the templates I purchase?

You receive a license to use the templates, but SoSocial retains ownership of the original designs. Think of it like buying software—you can use it, but you don't own the source code.


Billing & Refunds

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and other payment methods through our secure payment processor.

Are templates refundable?

Digital products are generally non-refundable once downloaded. However, if you experience technical issues or aren't satisfied, please contact us at contact@besosocial.com and we'll work to make it right.

Will my subscription auto-renew?

Yes, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

How do I get a receipt or invoice?

Receipts are automatically emailed after each purchase. You can also access past invoices from your account dashboard.
